Teliprompt Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Teliprompt ("the App," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the App.
Information We Collect
Account Information. When you sign in using Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or email, we collect the identifying information provided by that method (such as your name and email address) to create and manage your account.
Script References — Not Content. Teliprompt connects to your own Google Drive and/or iCloud storage to import scripts. Your script content remains in your own cloud storage account at all times and is never copied to or stored on our servers. We store only lightweight references to recently opened files (file name, file type, and the date you last opened it) so the App can display your recent scripts across your devices.
App Preferences. We store your formatting preferences (tag styles, colors, fonts), scroll and playback settings, theme choice, and custom tag/delimiter configurations, so these preferences sync across your own devices.
Speech Data. When using Text Match scrolling, Teliprompt uses on-device speech recognition to match your voice to your script. This processing happens entirely on your device using Apple's on-device speech recognition technology. Your voice is never recorded, transmitted, or stored by us or any third party.
Subscription and Purchase Information. Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive and store limited subscription status information (such as which tier you're subscribed to and renewal status) to enable app features and, where applicable, eligibility for promotional pricing. We do not receive or store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Apple.
Cloud Storage Connections. Authentication tokens used to connect to Google Drive or iCloud are stored securely on your device only and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Provide and sync app functionality across your own devices
Process and verify subscription status
Provide customer support
Improve the App
Third-Party Services
Teliprompt uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:
Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, on-device speech recognition
Google — Sign in with Google, Google Drive file access
Supabase — secure storage of account data and app preferences described above
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to provide the services described above (such as our database provider, Supabase) or as required by law.
Buy Gear / Affiliate Links
The App's "Buy Gear" section contains links to third-party retailers. As an affiliate, we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links, at no additional cost to you. We do not receive any information about your purchases from these third-party retailers.
Children's Privacy
Teliprompt is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Data Retention and Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at support@woodscraps.net. Script content in your own cloud storage is unaffected, as we never store it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and access controls on our database. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
